Empower Business Growth with Enterprise-Grade Forecasting

In today's dynamic business landscape, accurate forecasting is more critical than ever for revenue teams looking to boost growth. In fact, according to the Aberdeen Group, companies with precise sales forecasts enjyed 13.4% more year-over-year growth than companies with inaccurate estimates. Predictable forecasts get even more challenging as the scale and complexity of the organization grows. With more territories, geos or product lines, more stakeholders, more customized processes, there is no one size fits all approach to forecasting in large scale organizations. That’s why Salesloft is thrilled to announce the first of several exciting enhancements to our forecasting solution, designed to provide greater flexibility and precision to ensure that enterprise businesses can harness the power of Salesloft’s Forecast no matter their size or complexity.

What's New in Forecasting?

Salesloft’s Forecast empowers revenue teams to improve forecast accuracy and drive predictable revenue growth by providing data-driven pipeline insights, AI-powered predictions, and real-time visibility into your sales opportunities. But with the release of the new enterprise-grade enhancements to our Forecast solution, Salesloft will be equipped to support a variety of new capabilities, including account-based forecasting, the ability to support multiple goals per business segment, and the ability to export your forecast history.

These new functionalities were purposefully designed to give more flexibility to enterprise organizations with specific forecasting needs, helping Salesloft better map to our customers’ unique forecasting data and processes. The first enhancements to be available as a part of this new suite of features include account-based forecasting and the ability to set multiple goals per segment.

Account-based forecasting gives teams the ability to go beyond our traditional opportunity-based forecasting process by enabling you to create forecasts at the account-level, which is especially useful for predicting the revenue being brought in from your existing customer-base. Account-based forecasting can be used alongside our traditional opportunity-based approach, giving teams the ability to accurately forecast both new business and recurring revenue from existing accounts within a single location in Salesloft.

The ability to set multiple goals per segment allows teams to more granularly configure goals for individual reps or groups of reps in both Coaching and Forecast based on the business segment(s) they support. This feature is crucial for giving multi-segment businesses the ability to track multiple goals simultaneously across the entire revenue team, marking a significant enhancement for customers who operate in this manner.

These enhancements are more than just nice to have features - they give enterprise organizations the flexibility and predictability they need to manage their business and drive growth. • Driving more revenue growth by empowering strategic account managers or success teams to accurately forecast revenue from key accounts.
  • Making more informed business decisions by providing revenue leaders a holistic view of revenue predictions for the entirety of their business.
  • Optimizing sales strategies by giving sales managers the granularity needed to set and measure specific goals for every rep and segment under their purview in Forecast and Coaching.
