A Happier New Year: SalesLoft Rolls Out Extended Benefits Beginning in 2021

It goes without saying that 2020 was a year like no other. We’re pretty sure we don’t need to give you a recap, but Lofters -- and the rest of the world -- faced never-before-encountered challenges paired with headlines straight out of a blockbuster movie.

From shifting workspaces to our homes, to spending the holidays apart, to Googling terms like “contact tracing” and “PPE”, the world of 2020 is much different than we all thought it would be at the end of 2019. With these changes, however, came opportunity.

Here at Salesloft, we want to make 2021 brighter in any way we can -- starting with taking care of our own by enhancing and augmenting our company perks and benefits. We’re excited to share our newest offerings below, highlighting our dedication to the happiness and well-being of Lofters across the globe. 

Family Planning Support

Beginning in 2021, Salesloft will offer enhanced family planning benefits to support our Lofters who are growing their families or aim to in the future. These new benefits include:

  • IVF, egg freezing, & adoption assistance services with $10,000 in financial support per eligible Lofter family
  • 4 additional weeks of maternity leave (totaling 16 weeks of paid leave)

Mental Health Prioritization

We want Lofters to make their mental health as much a priority as their physical health. To achieve that, we’re offering two new services to focus on mindfulness and mental health:

  • Headspace app subscription
  • In-house personal counseling & professional development services

More Time to Relax and Recharge

This year, we introduced one Rest Day and one Focus Day per month (one day off and one day with no meetings, respectively) to help Lofters transition to remote work routines and get a much-needed mental break. 

We’re excited to announce we are extending our Rest and Focus Day program through 2021, bringing us to 31 paid days off each year! These paid days off include:

  • 10 Holidays
  • 12 Rest Days
  • 4 Shut Down Days
  • 5 Mandatory PTO Days

Company-Wide Retreat

We thought we’d save the best for last. We’re excited to announce that Salesloft plans to take its first annual company-wide retreat in the summer of 2021! We know that the impact of COVID-19 has been overwhelming, and we will continue to monitor conditions before confirming a date or destination. We will follow all suggested guidelines from the CDC to keep Lofters safe and will reschedule should conditions not improve.

We can’t wait to celebrate all of the incredible work Lofters have done in 2020 and enjoy  some much-needed fun in the sun!
