Actions Forecast… Better Than The Weather Forecast

Weather forecasts are sketchy at best. Well-trained scientists leverage serious mathematical equations and endless historical data to try and predict Mother Nature, but we all know how that turns out. In contrast, Actions Forecast in Salesloft is quite the opposite. Whether for good or bad, this is a forecast that you are in complete control over.

If you have actions on a step approaching a due date in a Salesloft Cadence, they’ll show up in the Actions Forecast. Actions within a step that are overdue in a Salesloft Cadence, will show up in the Actions Forecast.

If you go 100% on making calls, personalizing your emails, and performing other step actions, the volume of your Actions Forecast will go down. Spend time prospecting and adding people to the Cadence, and the number of actions in your Actions Forecast will increase.

It’s basic math, really, combined with balancing where you spend your time. And we’ve just made it easier to do exactly that.

With Actions Forecast, view, at a glance, what actions you, fellow reps, groups, or teams have due in the immediate furture.


  • Sellers. Plan your day and your next week’s worth of activities more effectively – see where you have too much queued up (need to go heads down) or not enough queued up (time to prospect).
  • Managers. Get quick indicators for your performance or your team’s performance. Coach through scenarios where there are too many past due activities or not enough scheduled activities.
  • Admins. Make Actions Forecasting available by role, as appropriate for your organizational structure.
  • Advanced Filtering. Evaluate by activity type, by user, or both!
