Salesloft Is Now One Company. Here's What That Means for Revenue Teams.

One brand. Two legacies. And a bet on what enterprise revenue teams will need to win the next decade.
Written by Laurie Ehrbar, CMO, Salesloft
Most rebrand announcements follow a predictable script: two companies come together, land on a name, ship a new website, and call it transformation. As a CMO, I've lived through enough of them to know that the gap between what gets announced and what actually happened is usually very wide. This one is different, and here’s why.
Less than a year ago, Clari and Salesloft came together. In that time, we've done something the market said couldn't be done at this speed: we've built one system that connects selling and forecasting end to end. We've brought together product, engineering, customer success, support, marketing, finance, and HR teams from two category-defining companies, and aligned them around a single goal. That's not a small thing. Most mergers take years to find their footing; but we didn't have that luxury, and frankly, we didn't want it.
The market has plenty of AI skepticism right now, which is fair. Too much of what's been promised has delivered activity reports instead of outcomes. What we set out to build is different: a system that understands all the signals across the revenue motion, brings them together in one place, and tells revenue leaders not just what's happening, but what to do about it. This isn’t just a tool for reps; it’s a system that changes what leaders know and when they know it.
Now we're ready to show up as one: one brand, one vision, one unified team ready to serve our customers and compete in a market that's changing faster than most people appreciate.
The name is Salesloft. But what that name now carries is something much bigger than either company built alone.
What Clari built
Before anything else, it's worth saying plainly: Clari is one of the most important companies the revenue technology space has ever produced.
What Clari did for forecasting and revenue intelligence is genuinely hard to overstate. Before Clari, most enterprise leaders were running their businesses on gut feel, spreadsheets, and whatever made it into the CRM before the deadline. Clari changed that, giving leaders a real, data-backed picture of pipeline health they could actually trust and act on. Thousands of organizations built their entire operating rhythm around what Clari made possible. That kind of trust, earned over more than a decade, doesn't get replaced; it gets carried forward.
That legacy doesn't disappear with a name change; in fact, it’s still part of the foundation we're standing on. Clari Forecasting continues, and the intelligence and credibility Clari built over more than a decade is woven into everything we're taking forward.
How Salesloft became the platform where revenue teams actually work
Salesloft changed how revenue teams engage. From the first outreach to the final negotiation, Salesloft put the tools, the intelligence, and the workflows in the hands of the people closest to the customer. It became the platform where sellers lived, and where the best sellers got better.
Why this moment is different
Here's what I keep coming back to: no one else owns both sides of this equation.
The engagement layer and the intelligence layer; the first touch and the board-slide forecast; the signal and the action. That combination, truly integrated and not bolted together, is what the market has been waiting for, even if it didn't always know how to ask for it.
At the same time, AI is accelerating everything. And what AI is revealing, faster than most vendors are willing to admit, is that bolt-on, individual solutions have a ceiling. You can have the best conversation intelligence tool, the best forecasting tool, and the best sales engagement tool, and still be making decisions based on an incomplete picture. The data lives in different places, the context doesn't travel, and the seller in the middle is left to stitch it together manually. That’s a tax, and it compounds.
The organizations that win the next decade won't be the ones with the most tools. They'll be the ones with the most complete, most trusted, most actionable picture of their customer. That's the bet we're making. And it's a bet I think the market is already making with us, whether they've framed it that way or not.
The problem we actually set out to solve
Here's an uncomfortable truth about where the industry is right now: AI investment in revenue has tripled in just a few years. And yet 87% of companies still missed their number last year. The tools got smarter, and the spend went up, but the gap between insight and action stayed wide open.
The reason isn't a lack of data; in fact, most revenue teams are drowning in it. The reason is that disconnected data without context is just noise, and noise at scale is expensive. Flooding sellers with signals doesn't change what they do, it just adds to the overhead of figuring out what matters. I've sat in enough pipeline reviews to know that more information without more clarity is just a longer meeting.
What actually moves a deal forward is knowing exactly which signals can predict an outcome, and doing something about them before the already-narrow window closes. This all requires connecting execution and intelligence in a single system, rather than passing information between them and hoping something sticks.
That's the problem this company was built to solve: not more data, smarter alerts, or better dashboards. A system where context drives action, and action shapes what happens next.
Why the era of fragmented revenue technology is ending
Rebrands can mean a lot of things. Sometimes they signal a pivot and sometimes they're purely cosmetic. But this one is a declaration.
Going to market as Salesloft, we're saying that the era of fragmented revenue technology is coming to an end, and we intend to define what comes next. This won’t happen by acquiring more point solutions or promising an integrated platform and delivering a collection of tabs. It’ll happen by building a system where every signal informs every action, where the forecast reflects what's actually happening, and where the seller spends their time on the things only a human can do. That last part matters more than it might sound: the best AI doesn't replace human judgment, it has the ability to protect the time and space for it.
To our customers
Everything we've built, and everything we're committing to, ultimately comes back to one thing: the customers who rely on us to get this right. You've trusted both of these companies with some of the most commercially sensitive and consequential decisions your business makes. That won’t change.
What does change with this announcement is our ability to serve you across the full revenue motion, with one team accountable, one platform learning continuously, and one clear direction. We merged late last year. Now we're here, fully, officially, and with a lot of confidence about what comes next. We're grateful for the patience; we think it was worth it.
The name is Salesloft. The ambition is considerably larger than that.
