Key findings at a glance
- AI progress is visible, but autonomy remains constrained. Every respondent reports using AI somewhere in the revenue process. Some 28.3% describe their deployments as production-ready with measurable outcomes, while 23.4% are still experimenting. The largest group, 38.2%, prefer AI to remain in an internal advisory role.
- Revenue pressure spans the full pipeline. Pipeline quotas have increased for 71.9% of respondents. Teams average 38.5 touches to create a qualified opportunity, and an estimated 21.6% of pipeline is affected by stalled deals, slipped close dates, and other execution breakdowns.
- Buyer insight informs prioritisation, but post-deal evidence remains uneven. Conversation intelligence is the most frequently cited account-prioritisation signal, selected by 20.4% of respondents. One in five say deal-loss reasons are captured only sometimes.
- Revenue technology strategy remains unsettled. Some 29.1% of organisations are actively consolidating their revenue technology stack, while another 25.1% are evaluating consolidation.
- Stakeholder breadth and a clear business case lead the UK findings. When asked for the strongest predictor that a deal will close, 22.7% chose multithreading across stakeholders. A strong business case and validated return on investment followed closely at 22.2%.
