ATLANTA, May 9, 2024 – Salesloft, provider of the only platform that prioritizes, automates, and recommends actions to help revenue teams close more business, today announced that Sara Cohen has joined the company as chief people officer. In this role, she is responsible for overseeing the company’s human resources and talent functions across global teams and continuing Salesloft’s focus on its award-winning culture, renowned for being a great place to work.

“The way people work is rapidly changing due to advancements in technology, and Salesloft is at the heart of this transformation,” said Cohen. “Salesloft uses AI and other technologies to enhance employee productivity and to drive outcomes, ensuring that technology serves people, not the other way around. I’m excited to join a company that’s committed to helping both our employees and customers rethink their approach to work.”

A veteran in people management, Cohen has nearly two decades of experience balancing business priorities with employee needs to drive growth. Through her work at firms like Forsta, GroupM, Xaxis, and Edelman, Cohen has demonstrated an ability to improve organizational efficiency, lead companies through times of transformation, and advise teams amid acquisitions while maintaining a hyperfocus on positive and inclusive workplace cultures.

“Salesloft is expanding our global footprint, and it is important for us to have a senior leader that can help guide and shape this organization as we enter into this next phase of growth,” said David Obrand, CEO of Salesloft. “Sara has an impressive track record as a senior People leader, focusing on both talent acquisition and talent development, especially during times of major growth and transformation. We are committed to expanding our global team and investing in continuous employee development. Sara’s background deeply aligns to those objectives and we are thrilled that she will be a steward of our corporate culture during this period of expansion.”

Cohen joins Salesloft at a time of pivotal growth for the organization. In February, Salesloft acquired Drift, a buyer experience and conversational AI company, making it the first and only AI Revenue Orchestration Platform for revenue teams that spans the entire buyer journey. The acquisition came on the heels of the company’s announcement in January that, after five years as a customer in their digital sales division, IBM is deploying Salesloft globally across 30 countries. Salesloft and IBM will also collaborating to bring a version of Salesloft to the market embedded with watsonx, IBM’s AI and data platform.
